Christmas Pixies.

Over at Oodles And Oodles the blogger bought some Christmas pixies & I just just wanted to show off mine. I bought them at Goodwill & they were still sealed in their original box. I haven't taken them out. I can't remember how much they cost, either.

I do have some sad news. I was at Value Village earlier today, I also saw this earlier this week, but they have one of my favourite items I have ever come across thrifting - the heart chair. Everything except for the back of the chair is there, but I know heart chairs & this was one of them. I checked everywhere for that backing, but alas, it wasn't there. A part of me wants to buy the rest of the chair & fix it up.. but I know that will never happen.

Pillows!

PILLOWS!
Here are some thrifted pillows. The NKOTB one I posted about not too long ago.. bad news though, my cat Kleo scratched up the back of it. Depressing, I know. Very depressing. On the bright side, there is one on eBay right now that will be shipping to Canada, so I will be buying. This wreckage of my pillow just goes to show that it's true, I cannot have nice things. They get torn up or urinated on. The other pillow was picked out by an old fried, the moon shaped one. It matched my old heart chair. It was 99cents. The Minna pillow with the little yellow birds was recent, still in the plastic wrapping & still with tags - $2.99. The pillow with the black bird was quite pricey & was not bought thrifting, but bought at Wal-Mart - $9.97 for that thing!, but I loved it. It still has it's tags to this day & it also has a little secret zip up compartment in the back. I'll let you know if I get that NKOTB pillow off eBay. All 3 pillows were found at Value Village.

The Big Bang!

Well, this is it, the beginning of a revolution. My blog. I hope will enjoy it as much as I will.

I`m starting off with a few previous purchases made within the past year or so.

The scores above were all bought at Value Village. $1.99 for the unicorn & I think $2.99 for the picture frame, can`t remember right now. I like the picture frame the way it is, so I left it pictureless.

The heart chair. The heart chair is one of my favourite purchases. I have two currently, one is damaged beyond repair (didn`t buy it like that.. was a bit damaged, but it is now totally damaged). The one above was bought at Goodwill for $4.99. It`s eggshell in colour & it`s absolutely beautiful. I can`t sit on it myself, since I weigh to much. I found another one, exactly the same as above, same great condition too, in a store window here in Toronto on College Street. A friend of mine went into the shop & the woman wants $80 for it. I mean, I`d pay that much just because it`s something I really want, but you know. I have yet to buy it, but hopefully will sometime in the future.
