Hi thrifters! I've been working up a sweat this week - literally. I believe I even suffered heat stroke & was ready to pass out in the thrift store. I dragged myself into one more (glad I did) & then had to hop on the bus & take my ass home. I was ready to vomit, then collapse. I have a haul I am proud of this week - all thrifted. 

All bought all these glasses to resell. I just might open an insta-shop. They seem like fun. My sales would only take place every quarter, whenever I go to the states as I probably wouldn't sell a lot since shipping for larger items is OUTRAGE to the USA from Canada. 

These are vintage, made by Federal. Don't really photograph well, but I learned when offering them for sale you can put food coloured water inside!

I cannot believe this was at the thrift store according to the tag for about 72 hours. This store is stalked by the dirtiest, sleaziest dealers I have ever seen, too. I won't go into detail, just trust. They are sleazy. Good Pyrex moves through this place, I can tell by all the dishwashered stuff. I found a few nice things, too. Nothing extremely rare, but nice enough. Anyways, it was grimy, maybe that's why? They afraid of the tiniest bit of work & will only buy shelf ready items? $3.

April angel. I never go to this store, so surprised I found something! It's always picked over to crap & you're usually picked through literal garbage. Love her basket of Easter eggs. I've got the February angel. 

OKAY. This t-shirt was too hilarious not to buy. I don't know if I am going to keep it, I might sell it. There was one on eBay at one point like it for $148, don't know if it ever sold. This one was never worn (at least never washed - so it looks). 

Cuuuuttteeee... & close up on the cat is a must!

I bought these napkins. I would love to know more about them. Does anybody know anything about them? German, I know! But.. what else
?

Hello! Welcome to the last edition of Thriftasaurus from my current home! I am just about to settle down for the night & we move tomorrow so want to get Thriftasaurus posted tonight. To the dismay of my boyfriend,  I thrifted this week... but stopped in 2 thrifts (same plaza) after dropping off donations, which pretty much all came from thrifts.

Well, I did get to a thrift another time & I found this glass. I'm in love! I was going to leave it & buy some online because as you can see, someone quite enjoyed this glass (visible ware one the bottom). However,  it was 69cents & I didn't think I'd remember what it looked like enough to search... so here it is on a box, at home.

If you know the maker or where I can buy them,  let me know please.

And if you ever see one or a set, please buy them! I'll buy them off you! !

Hey thrifters! How was your week in thrifting? I'm glad I was able to successfully do both a scheduled post & and scheduled link up! As you may or may not know, last week I went to Ohio! You know, I've always convinced myself that Ohio will have amazing Pyrex & it never really does! Michigan does, but Ohio.. not so much. I was able to hit one vintage shop, so overpriced it made my heart hurt & eyes bleed, 4 antique malls & a handful of thrifts. I went to a flea market, but it was 20 minutes before it was closed, so all the vendors had packed up. 

These are my finds. I was going to split them up into posts, but these are going to be immediately packed up. We are moving at the end of may - 2 blocks! So yeah, here's everything!

I found one of these ice buckets not to long ago. Can you believe I found another? Same price at the antique market as it was at the thrift. This is one of my favourite finds this year, so ecstatic to have a backup!

 Lots of salt & pepper shakers! I have been wanting a set of the winking owls to go with my thrifted winking owl cookie jar, I have seen them priced previously anywhere from $15 to $49. I knew one day I would find them cheaper - $9! Same market had the cookie jar for $95.. jeez. I had never seen anything like the birds before, ♥ ♥ ♥ them! They have 4 real feathers on each shaker!

Vintage RCA Nipper dog statues. $11 for both at a market. The bigger one goes for $50 on eBay. Good buy!

My Pyrex buys. The Bluebelle/Delphite/Whatever bowl was a $3 thrift store find & I bought the fridgie from the market for $5 mainly for the lid. 

I was surprised to find out on Pyrex Trading FB group
there was some Delphite hate... weird.

This box is just fabulous! It's a box of Sealtest Ice cream, Gay 90's Toffee Fudge & is from 1956.

A trip to the USA isn't finished unless it includes vintage Christmas... 
also includes some duck that was $2, made in Japan. Easter? 

Some very small smalls. I've been wanting that Wrigley's gum keychain for my collection for awhile. Love it! Some Valentines picks, love them! Sealed made in Japan reindeer. Love it! & some amazing pins for my collection ("REAL SWINGER" will be for sale... I want ORGY ORGANIZER... not REAL SWINGER!"

Hope you found some great goods this week. I've got a huge week a head - fun dentist appointment, haircut.. hah, but most important, I have an interview on Friday, let's see how that goes! I had an interview for the same job maybe 2 years ago? Didn't go as well as I would have like, but 2 years to grow. Need more money for more stuff & a bigger house to fit that stuff in!

PS: I just realized I have more stuff from this trip I forgot to post - oh well, next week!

Happy Easter Thrifters! This year, no day of celebrations for me. We usually go to my boyfriends moms & his sister cooks, but she is in the hospital (again), so I will be staying home, cleaning & packing up our apartment while my boyfriend is working. The doctors say she should be out on Monday. We'll all be going down to Ohio & going to his aunts for Easter celebrations next weekend. 

I wasn't going to go out this week, but I am pretty damn glad I did. Before anything else, I also want to say, I found a total of $15 this week! Psyyyyyched! I went out because I was stressed & needed time alone. I went out without any expectations aside from having some time alone. Maybe that's the mentality I should always have?

First up, some of my favourite shades of Pyrex! One of my favourite patterns is Butterprint. I love it in all colours & sizes, but my ultimate favourite colour & size is the 471 white on turquoise! I was so excited to find this in the thrift. I only have one & bought it at an antique market in Michigan for $12 without a lid. The thrift store one is near mint. Love it! When I got off the bus, even though I never find Pyrex at this particular thrift anymore & had no expectations, I just had a feeling like I was going to find a pink piece. & look what sat on the shelf? 

I saw this at a thrift before & passed because my BF was home & I can only sneak so much inside the house when he's home, so I left it. We later went into an antique market & it was in a booth & he commented on how cool it was. Really boo? It was $3 at the thrift store, now it's like $28 at the antique market.

Yup, rhinestone eyes get me every time. These S&P shakers, made in Japan. 

Don't you love this classic set of Jolly Juvenile Notes? The illustrations are a lot of fun. It's missing that beautiful candy cane pen, though. Too bad. 

I bought a lamp, too. I know, you're quoting me, "I thought you said you're not a lamp guy!?" I'll save the story & photos for next time because getting pictures of the lamp & to the lamp & stuff is too complicated right now. Hope the bunny was good to you... 

BTW, it was my anniversary today - we've been together for 7 years! No celebrations, we never even saw each other. We are working too hard.

★ THRIFTASAURUS ★

This was another week I didn't rock it too much. I had a thrifting trip planned out this week, but it didn't pan out the way I planned (does anything, really?). I found a few things at the first thrift, which did it for me. I'm in love with the ice bucket & the table runner. I don't know the area very well we were in, the BF does & I was trying to get a grasp on where he was going & he skipped over one of the thrifts on my list. I was a bit ticked off. 

My first buy all week were these vintage Daisy Lady glasses/tumblers. I bought them because I found them hilarious. I would have loved to meet the woman who had this set of glasses. I haven't been able to find anything like them online, if you know something, let me know. I am also looking to sell this set. If you are interested, let me know. I can't take a fab pic, but stay tuned.. give me a few weeks. I had planned on keeping them, but want to raise some money to buy the table I have my eye on.

Another ones of these, very adorbs! I can't not bring one of these home.

Cute ass tea towel, no? I ♥ dogs. If I ever won the lotto (I do play - sometimes), I would open some kind of dog sanctuary..
I wanted this tea towel, but I think I may be selling it to pay for the table I want.

Anyways, I have 2 Christmas table runners in the same/similar colours & fabric. Now I have an Easter. FAB! Even the BF had nice things to say about it & that don't happen very often!

I bought these little NOEL choir boys that were in a grab bag. I had thought that one of these guys were the missing choir boy Erica from Pyrex Thrifter Sisters had broken... but, upon further investigation when I got internet access, it wasn't. This NOEL set isn't even that rare - I will still complete it though! Ambitious! & a Santa mug.

It is an ice bucket, right? Not sure if someone changed their mind or the shelf putter outter thought it was a planter since I found it with the planters... when I'm in a rush, I usually don't check that aisle, but I am in the market for planters for Spring, but nope! Too hard to find something when your looking for it. You all know what I mean.

I went to my first estate sale.

Alone. 

I was on my way to the doctors office, which is 2 city blocks away & off my road was an estate sale sign. I went over. Always wondered what those houses looked like inside (pretty dumb). Not sure if the place was insanely, completely picked over by 9:30AM, but there was nothing there really. Some old postcards, I picked these 2 out for a quarter. I think the person was downsizing, I imagine old & can't climb the stairs anymore as each room was on a different floor & all the furniture was out of the house. 

* note, I am from Windsor, ON.. which is why I bought the postcard.

I didn't get out much this week. 50% off sale weeks keep me home, plus the boyfriend was off a couple days & I only get to see him 2-3 days a week so we had dinner at home, I'm not too good with the heat, so that's kept me indoors, too. A couple quality finds to show off this week that I'm really proud of. What do you think? 

I welcome a new pink daisy piece of Pyrex into my home. Now I have 3. I just need to get my hands on a space saver - my favourite size of Pyrex. I like the fact that I can ship stuff to my cousins house in Ohio. I got two pink fridgies, shipping included, mint condition for the same price that they were charging for one, not in mint condition in an antique market. My Jadeite bowl is awaiting my arrive for just over $10 shipping included, came from the next major city over. I've decided that the 401's are perfect size. We'll be dumping our Ikea bowls in exchange for 4 matching 401's.

1986 Transformers TV tray in the same thrift I picked up the Transformers flat sheet a couple weeks ago. Funny how that works. 

I also picked up this new used vintage printed linens, made in Hungary. There is one in green & one in red. They are all about liquor.
