It has been 2 weeks since I have taken part in Vans Sunday Goal Linkup, I have been lazy, unambitious & generally in the dumps. Things haven't changed, but my Psychic Friend has advised me that setting goals & keeping them will help me get out of this rut.
1. Finish organizing those Canadian sweeps! With a $250 Best Buy gift card under my belt & half way organized in my dailies, I'm finally almost there!
2. Eat smart. Eat right. 1,843 calories a day. 1,500mg of sodium MAX a day.
3. Save money. Eat out less, think twice at the thrift store (like that'll happen :p) bring pops to work, no impulse shopping.
4. Gym! Gym! Gym! I'm staying Fat! Fat! Fat! 4x this week.
5. ETSY/EBAY! Let's see what's up!
I'm adding a SIXTH goal this week...
to clean up this hoard! It's been a dumping ground for thrifted finds for awhile!

I managed to make it to the gym 4x last week after working on that goal for a month. Now I'm trying one of those couch to 5k things.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
Good job! What's a couch to 5k thing? I'll try & Google it.
ReplyDeleteI can do it!
It's a running program that gets you from unfit to being able to run 5k (about 30 minutes straight) in 8 weeks. While I'm not crazy about running, it gets the job done. The nice thing about the C25K thing is that it goes slow enough that you don't want to die, but fast enough that you feel like you are making progress.
ReplyDeleteI love the exercise goals. I've lost weight by going mostly vegetarian and eating very balanced, but the results would be better if I moved more.
ReplyDeleteI just ride my bike, though, need to throw in some hardcore gardening, biking, running, basket ball, and tennis, too!
Good luck with your goals, I have hoard to organize, too....
monogirl - I hope it works for you! I don't think it's for me, lol.
ReplyDeleteVan - good luck with your goals too!
