As you might have guessed, my favourite CSN shop is All Modern. It's quality modern furniture at affordable prices. Some of their pieces are amazing.

Right now the non '80s hoarder in me is totally adoring this Sitcom Furniture Roslyn Buffet (& it's currently 15% off!), which is among many other sideboards, buffets & credenzas, many of us swoon over.


I'm also digging both sets of these Museum of Robots Rockets Salt & Pepper Shakers. They come in both aluminum & wood.

    My thrifting tips? well I only have one....When in a thift store I grab everything I like then do 2 sweeps of the place. After it's time to thin out the finds....I'm getting really good :)

    Arrange your grocery list by the layout of the grocery store. It will get you in and out quicker and cut back (significantly) on your impulse buys.

    On of my best Thrifting tips is to go often and really look! It is so easy to miss something especially on those bottom shelves or behind stuff. I also think sometimes the 'good stuff' gets tucked away but I sometimes find it!!

    Since we were just searching for and bought a serving cart, my eye is drawn to the Johnston Casuals - Oval Serving Cart. I grew up with beautiful mid-century Danish teak furniture and if the house I live in now would work with it, this cart would be what I might buy. Instead, we found an Italian more traditional piece but it is perfect for our dining room.

    Thrifting tip is to shop sporadically. To save gas and money, when you're driving by the store, stop in to get their deals for the week. I do this to about 3 stores and don't make special trips... just have to be flexible.

    My Clothes thrifting tip:
    I Grab first everything in the store that catches my eye (without looking at the price)...then once I find the mirror I try on what I can, and edit my clothing stash to what I really want to get! It makes it go by super fast.

    My thrifting tip is when going to thrift shops or church or garage sales always go to the dusty corner or box that people seem to have forgotten about. Most times you can find amazing finds there. Sometimes if you buy in bulk you can bargain a discount.
