How many of you lucky guys already own this? I am very selective with the books I buy, books aren't on the top of my collection list, but once in awhile a book is lucky enough to find it's way onto my shelves. If the book wouldn't set me back just under $70 with shipping, I'd probably already own it. Now, I sit back & wait until it's either gifted or I somehow get lucky with my thrift store saying, "you just never know...".

I have it. Got it when it very first came out. I got it reordered and then signed!

ReplyDeleteI bought this when it first came out and it's a great book. Amazing photos and great information. I have yet to find a piece or pattern that this book doesn't cover. I paid $50 for it here in the States only because it had been FOREVER since a Pyrex book came out plus I had some money in my Paypal account from eBay to cover it. Although it's a good book, I'm still unsure as to why it costs so much. I'd be putting it on your birthday list!

Michael, the author of the book, said that the reason for the high cost is that 208 pages of full color is expensive. He said he would have loved to have made it cheaper, but those color pages.
