What I Didn't Buy At The Thrift Store
(with very bad photography!)

$2.52 for an empty Voss bottle? Sure, it's from Norway & not taxable, but a full bottle of Voss runs $2.99 at my work (not sure if it's taxable, probs is).
$2.99 for this sad bowl. Maybe someone has taken it home? Same store had a set of Spring Blossom Green bowls, in great condition, $14.99, $11.99, $9.99 & $8.99, uhhh.. NO THX. I just bought a set for $25. MINT. Not taxable, but thanks! At least these will probably end up in a good home & be taken care of.
Dominos mug. $4.99. A bit faded. Have bought the same mugs from here, mint condition for $1.99.
I should have a little more interesting one next week, heh.
A VOSS bottle??? Are they on crack?

LOL!
DeleteMakes you wonder who"s in the back pricing these items.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do wonder. All the time.
DeleteYa kno what? Our value vill charges tax! 12% HST!
ReplyDeleteYup, ours too. 13%! The two in the last picture is a store called Talize. They have 5 in Ontario & one in BC. They charge tax, too. All those damn for profit thrift stores.
DeleteI don't even know what a Voss bottle is or what would be in it....lol.
ReplyDeletelol.
DeleteIt's really expensive water. It's from Norway.
I've seen those water bottles for sale here too. Its so strange. I saw a large Spring Blossom bowl in terrible condition for $14! Nuts! It stayed there too!
