Sir Thrift-A-Lot in Rednesday

A lot of RED this week (at least for me).

My first RED purchase (well, RED & BLUE) is this cute vintage tablecloth. I had to ask a woman for help in Goodwill to overlook for any repairs or holes. She was happy to help & besides some stains (that hopefully Oxy can clean up), it was good to come home. My thoughts: this will become a thrift regret. I could have gotten a shawarma instead. & this would look great on a table (which I don't have) with Butterprint! Once I got home, I felt, no regret, this tablecloth has a new home.

I bought these 2 vintage towels today. I have desperately been searching the shelves for a New Kids On The Block towel that I can sport at the beach, but it's been almost 2 years & nada. I came across these today. I think the poodle one is ridiculous, but they look like they're having so much fun. What year do you think they are from? 1950's?

And I found one of these little guys today. I had been searching for them over the holiday season. I've only found 2 of them, together, in their original box... a very long time ago. This guy still has his Made In Japan still on his butt.

So yeah, joining up with REDNESDAY with It's A Very Cherry World

    1. If you lived closer, I'd have climbed through your window already for some vintage goodies. You'd probably be climbing through mine while I'm off climbing through yours lol.

  3. Oh, wow. I am so envious. I love all of your finds. The tablecloth is ADORABLE. I love the tea-towels. I bet they are from the 50s. I have started to collect the knee huggers. I only have two vintage guys so far. Yours looks so cute with your vintage Pyrex collection!! You really did well!

  4. LOL I LOVE that you want an NKOTB towel! I'll be on the look out for you! If you only knew how much NKOTB stuff I threw away, you would die! I think I told you before, but I went to 5 concerts back in the day. Yep!! Very cool I know!

    1. I remember you telling me that - too lucky! Just one for me. In Detroit. I threw away so much, too. We had all the dolls, the stage, stickers, books, game, sleeping bag.. I want the duffel bag, too, for the gym, but for now, I'll stick with my Pac-Man bag & maybe can afford a Lacoste bag one day soon.

  8. I'm going to keep my eye out for a NKOTB towel for you! Now you will probably end up with 20 in the next year or so! How cool would that be?! And those towels are fantastic! Poodles are so strange...

    1. Thanks Melissa! & lol, I could see that happening.

My step sister had a poodle. It lived in a little house & slept on a little bed & hung out on a couch on a little porch. He even had a little kitchen where he didn't cook little meals.

    1. Are you going? I'm a reTRO NKOTB kinda guy, but I know a girl who bought her package! I was with her at work when she bought it. She was going crazy! She's been to see them & met them so many times, they know her by name.
