Thriftasaurus!!

Thriftasaurs!

Hope everybody has had a good week! Even though I still have some Ohio finds left (can you believe how lazy I am?), I've decided to mostly showcase my thrift finds this week. It has nearly been a month since I can post a "thrift haul" - craziness!!

Pyrex!
The 444 pink Gooseberry Cinderella came from the thrift shop, my 3rd & everything else was Craigslist. Has been so dry everywhere, resorted to Craigslist. It's OK though. Both Delphite fridgies are in good to very good condition (one was described as excellent, but it has flea bites...). I really need that pesky 502.

I also picked up some vintage Christmas. A set of green Noel candle holders made in Japan by Napco. There were two letters in each bag. At first I could only find the one bag... was getting a lil' aggitated! Anyways, the set was $5.98. Pretty much mint. I seriously can't believe these survive both the backroom & the grab bags!

I bought a table runner that was similar material & size a few months back, which was made in Germany. Not sure if this one was too, but it's cute!

Last Christmas find... a full set of Ren & Stimpy Christmas cards, how cool is that?

and a Madonna magazine from the '80s. (not pictured... next week maybe?)

I guess that's it!

  1. Thrifted finds mixed together in a vignette - 2 quart sealer, silverplate spoons, white china creamer and sugars, wooden tote that I painted, green handled fruit knives. Pretty decorations. Thanks for hosting today (ps: found a pyrex oak acorn lidded rect. casserole 548-B today).

  2. I have a little NOEL train my husband loves to rearrange to say LEON. It's been a running joke for many Christmases. Lol.

    2. Ha ha! You can also make it say Leno, as in Jay Leno from The Tonight Show. Don't know if you get that in Canada. Thanks so much for sharing this at the We Call It Olde Link-Up! -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com

  3. I can't believe that the employees would put those in grab bags! Seriously, common sense? I'm glad you found the other ones though. I have one set of NOEL choir boys and am missing one of the letters but I couldn't leave them behind.

So happy that you finally found some Pyrex. Who cares that you didn't thrift every piece? I can't tell you how many times I have gotten desperate and bought a piece I've been dying for on eBay. The Delphite is super rare around here. I will be on the lookout for you.

    1. Some people don't have a clue, do they? LOL (we already know the answer to that).

  4. Those blue fridgies are beautiful -- and I don't even like fridgies! :) I've had some luck at local thrifts, but haven't had time to post lately. Will do so soon.

P.S. That runner is really lovely. If you ever decide to sell it, please keep me in mind.

    1. Can't wait to see what you picked up! Maybe you're the reason I've had no luck? haha.

I will definitely let you know if I decide to sell this ever. I know where to find you.

  8. I just read an article this week that said anything "Noel" was very hard to come by and very collectible, they also included the Japanese angels and choir boys.

  10. Aaaah The Ren & Stimpy cards! Nick Toons WERE my childhood. I dunno how I was ever outside so much when I spent an ungodly amount of time in front of the tube watching my beloved Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. ;) Love those, in short! Great haul of holiday goodness.

  12. Lucky you and all your Pyrex!!! I love those little delphite fridgies. And what genius put the Noel letters in separate bags?! You're so lucky that you found them all!

  13. Love that table runner! I would have snatched that right up!

  14. The employees at two local Goodwills and one other local thrift put the glass ornaments in plastic bags and then just toss them all into a bin to be rummaged through. It breaks my heart to see them so mauled and broken. I just don't understand. Plus you would think it would be dangerous to have all those glass shards around.
