A Gift From Erica @ Golden Egg Vintage

Earlier in the summer (first week of July, I think...) I was gifted an amazing little package from Erica at Golden Egg Vintage. It came packed with two Pyrex lime green 8oz pieces that I bought from here ever popular Market Mondays

The good news is, the package made it. The bad news is.. the tea cup that goes with the the saucer in the first picture smashed to pieces on route - I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a replacement, but no dice. I adore the Christmas items. The Santa has a sticker on the bottom, Japan & originally 15cents. The lollipops are my favourite. If anybody is ever selling any... you know where to go first. I can't wait to display these come December.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Haaa! People are going to think "What sort of gift is THAT?" lol
Well, I had good intentions. The teacup was darn cute and I'm still so mad at myself for not packing things better!
Sweet of you to post about it though.
    Happy Hunting this week!
    Erica :)

    1. I love - it's a good gift :). The lollipops are one of my favorite new Christmas decorations.

I thought it was actually packed pretty well, but the package was a little knocked up so it crushed the cup. Thanks USPS!

    2. And once I can convince someone to make me a banner, I wanna try to include pics of them in there or something.

  2. Dang post office! They just throw stuff around, it's terrible. I'm happy the Pyrex survived though. She always includes such fun little extras! Love the lollipops.
So you can make your banner super easy. I did mine in a app on my phone called Picsart. I made a collage with a template that was intended to go onto facebook. It was the right size for what I wanted for the blog. Then I just emailed it to myself and added it to the blog from my lap top. You don't have to do a collage either. Could just be one picture if you want.
Hope all is well with you!

  3. We've had that same Santa since I was a wee lad! Mine isn't in such beautiful condition, though!

  4. I just had to comment for the first time! I just love those lollipops. My parents have had the same ones on their tree since the 70's. If I remember, we also had orange and green ones. I always loved them growing up.
