Vintage Barware & Shakers.

You're only really here for the pictures anyways.

Weekend finds:

Bowling pin & ball salt & pepper shakers found by Aggie in the depths of a Mississauga Goodwill - $1.51... I guess Goodwill pricing is dumb everywhere now. Bowling ball is cute.. got the 3 holes in it, same as a real ball would.

Vintage barware novelty glass. "You asked for it on the rocks", with all the different kinds of delicious liquors listed on the rim (Rye, Vermouth, Brandy, Water, Scotch). Well water, not really. Two rocks are super glued on the inside. Great gag. $1.99, Value Village.

Taking part today in Thrift Share Monday.
(don't know how to add a button, waiting on a reply from a friend.. but wanted to participate)

  2. Love vintage barware! That is a super cool glass! And the bowling shakers are fantastic! It is puzzling how some things are priced reasonably at the Goodwill, while a chipped, dresser with drawers that won't open smoothly might be $149. I'll never understand it.

  3. LOVE THE SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS! I have a pair that look like 2 tomatoes that we use all the time at the Casablanca. I hae a glass much like your, and a companion glass that has a "bullet hole" eteched into it (as it is a shot glass haha) pretty cool, and all great prices!

  5. I know what you're talking about bekaboo. Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that backroom. We don't have furniture at our Goodwill though. The most we have is like a vanity chair or a lawn chair, lol.

Thanks Flo! I love them. Great addition to the collection.
