Wanted Wednesday: Pyrex Strawberry Mixing Bowls

Wanted Wednesday:
 Pyrex Strawberry Mixing Bowls

I was searching ended listings on eBay (because I have nothing better to do, even though the laundry is piled up, dusting needs to be done, bathroom needs to be cleaned...) & came across this listing for a set of 2. The listing was ended early, so I can only assume someone offered a price & the seller accepted. Wonder what it was?  Obviously, I could be wrong. Naturally, I took to Google & found the image above. Tried to find the source to link to it, but I wasn't successful, so... Google Search by Image Results it is!

Have you seen this set before? Own it? Would you buy it? I think it's cute, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, especially because it'd probably go for an arm & a leg online. If I found it at a thrift or at an antique market, I'd bring it home.

According to the listing, this set is unmarked.

  1. OK, Did you just take a red Strawberry stamp and make those bowls yourself? Is that what it's come to now?? LOL
It's so weird how random some of these bowls can be! Like earlier today I saw that the "Other Erica" pinned a pic of an Americana set with a blue background instead of the usual brown or white. So weird!
The strawberries are very cute, but it would bug the heck out of me that they weren't marked.

  2. It's cute but since it's unmarked I would probably give it a skip.

  3. I have some really cute vintage tablecloths with strawberries on them so I probably would buy them IF they were a good price. But if I was drinking vodka and found them online I would most likely buy them without looking at the price. I should have a breathalyzer hooked up to my computer.

  5. Oh yeah, I was watching those. Kinda annoyed me the listing was ended--I wanted to see how much they would go for. Honestly, I didn't like them enough to consider bidding, though...it has got me thinking to bid on some of those auctions at the opening bid just to keep them from ending early!!!

  6. Yup, I'd buy em'. They're beautiful! I've never seen those before. Isn't it interesting how "new stuff" keeps coming up? Keeps me hopeful. : )

  7. I'd be happy for one, I wouldn't care if it had a marking or not, I've never seen this pattern before.

  8. I just love all vintage milk glass bowls if they're adorable, and these are adorable. If the price wasn't bad, I'd get them, marked or not. Thanks for bringing these to our attention, and thank you for sharing this at my History & Home Link Party this week, take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com

  9. I think I agree that if I saw them in a charity shop or market, I'd pick them up, but wouldn't pay over the odds online before I saw them in real life.
